Tree pose.

Improve your balance and strengthen your legs.  Stand with your legs together, and then bend your right knee and place your right foot on the inside of your left leg, either above or below your knee joint, bring your hands into a prayer position at your heart center. Try to keep your focus for 30 seconds.

Warrior 1 pose.

Improve core strength and focus.

Stand with both feet together, take a big step forward with one foot, leaving the other foot in place, raise your hands high over your head, palms facing each other, turn your back foot, so your toes are pointed away from your body and bend your front knee, hold for a couple of breaths.

Downward dog pose.

Downward Dog stretches the hamstring and calf muscles in the back of the legs and helps strengthen the shoulders.

The weight of the body should be on the hands and feet. The arms are stretched straight forward, shoulder width apart, the legs are straight and the hips are raised as high as possible.

Yoga offers numerous benefits for both the mind and body, including improved flexibility, strength and help in stress reduction.

Take care to build your practice slowly and to not over stretch your muscles, hold the poses only for as long is comfortable, and most importantly, remember to BREATHE
